Step 3: Send the OTP and verify the sender

  1. Tap Send OTP. An OTP goes to the sender's mobile.
  2. The Verify Sender screen opens. It shows the number the OTP went to and a Ref number.
  3. Type the OTP. Example: 4 8 2 9 1 5.
  4. Tap Verify & Register.

  • Resend OTP in 60s: you can ask again only after the counter ends.
  • Cancel returns to the form; nothing is registered.
  • If the OTP is wrong or has expired the app shows the reason; ask for a new one.

Step 4: Upload the documents (Citizenship and Passport)

After you register, the sender needs KYC approval. For Citizenship or Passport the Document Upload Required section opens with the status Documents Required.

Documents required

Upload three pictures. The labels show the document name (here Citizenship):

  1. Citizenship Front Image *: the front side.
  2. Citizenship Back Image *: the back side.
  3. Customer Photo Holding Citizenship *: the sender holding the original document in hand.

Each file must be 1 MB or smaller. If a photo is bigger the app makes it smaller by itself and tells you, for example "id-front-big.jpg was 7.5 MB, made smaller to 953 KB.". A PDF cannot be made smaller, so use a picture.

Large photo shrunk automatically

When all three files show, tap Submit Documents & Verify.

Three files chosen

Take clear, straight photos where every word and the photo are readable. Blurry or cropped photos get rejected.

Step 5: Check the KYC status

Open the sender (Search by mobile). The Sender Details card shows KYC:

KYC under review

KYCMeaningWhat to do
Documents RequiredNo documents sent yetUpload them (Step 4)
Under ReviewPrabhu is checking the documentsWait. Search again later
KYC RejectedPrabhu rejected themResubmit Documents with clearer photos
VerifiedApprovedYou can add a receiver and send money

While the status is not Verified the card shows CanSendTransaction: No, and the app may say "Transaction Limit Reached". That message is only about KYC being incomplete.

Aadhaar eKYC (fingerprint)

For an Aadhaar sender the KYC is done on the phone, with a fingerprint scanner:

  1. Tap Start eKYC. A secure RBL page opens; the sender completes the Aadhaar verification there.
  2. Tap Check Status (it also checks by itself once the window is closed).
  3. When Aadhaar is verified, enroll the fingerprint: choose the scanner, tap Capture, then Submit Enrollment.
  4. Onboarding finishes by itself. If it does not, tap Retry Onboarding.

If the RBL page closes or fails, tap Continue eKYC to start a fresh page. Each page link works once, so never reload an old one.

Transaction limit

A sender can make 10 transactions per year (the card shows used / 10 and how many are left). When it is used up the app shows "Transaction Limit Reached".
