Send money to Nepal (Prabhu)

This guide takes you from a verified sender to the receipt, screen by screen.

Example used below: send ₹5,000 to Sita Kumari (Nepal) as a Bank Deposit. Use your own amounts.

Transfers left this yearA sender can make 10 per year

Step 1: Open the sender

  1. Go to Services → Remittance → Prabhu.
  2. Search the sender by mobile number.
  3. The Sender Details card shows the name, mobile, KYC: Verified, CanSendTransaction: Yes and the count, for example 2 / 10 used · 8 left.
  4. Under Recent Transactions you see the receivers.

Step 2: Choose the receiver and enter the amount

Tap the send icon (paper plane) on the receiver. The amount screen opens with the receiver's name, relation and Payment Mode.

Amount screen

  1. Type the amount in You Send (INR) *. Example: 5000.
  2. They Receive (NPR) fills itself using the day's rate. You can also type the NPR amount and the app works out the INR.
  3. The Charge Breakdown appears:

Limits

  • The smallest amount is ₹700. Below that the button says "Enter Valid Amount (Min ₹700)".
  • The amount plus the Prabhu charge cannot be more than ₹50,000; otherwise the app shows "Transfer Principal and Prabhu Service Charge combined cannot exceed ₹50,000."

Step 3: Review

The Review Prabhu Transaction screen shows everything once more: the sender, the receiver (name, mobile, relation, payment mode, account), the transfer amount, the exchange rate (for example 1 INR = 1.6 NPR), the payout amount (8000 NPR) and the charge breakdown.

Review

Check the receiver's name, account number and amounts. Check them carefully; once the transfer is sent a change may not be possible. Tap Edit Details to go back, or Send OTP to continue.

Step 4: Enter the OTP

  1. An OTP goes to the sender's mobile. The Verify OTP screen shows the number and a Ref number.
  2. Ask the sender for the code and type it. Example: 6 5 4 3 2 1.
  3. Tap Verify.

Verify OTP

  • Resend OTP in 60s: you can ask again after the counter ends.
  • Cancel stops the transfer; no money is taken.

Step 5: Transaction sent

The app shows "Transaction request was successful. Wallet debited by ₹5,050.00."

Success message

Then Transaction Details opens:

Step 6: Download the receipt

On Transaction Details tap Print Receipt. A PDF (Prabhu_Receipt_<PIN>.pdf) is downloaded.

Receipt

The receipt carries the PIN, the status, the sender, the receiver, the amount sent, the collected amount, the exchange rate, the payout in NPR, the charges, the mode of payment and the terms. Share it with the receiver or keep it. You can get it again later from My Transaction: see Receipts.

How your wallet is charged

The amount and charges are held while the transfer is in progress. When Prabhu confirms, the hold becomes a debit. If the transfer fails, the hold is released and you get everything back. If Prabhu is slow, the hold stays until it is confirmed.
